Sandra Turner kicked-off the RIT Career Explorers Experience program with a workshop on how to use the Design Thinking process to invent their future careers. The program is an exploratory program planned for 8th-10th grade youth who do not know what they want to be when they grow up! Through ideation and future user needs assessment, the Explorers designed what they believe the workplace environment will look like in 2025 along with inventing their own job titles. It's estimated that 60% of job titles of 2025 have yet to be created. Sandra has invented her own job title - Blue Sky Explorer - and she believes that we need to call ourselves by a title that has a deep personal meaning to help us jump out of bed in the morning excited to get to work!
